Ground clove is an aromatic spice made from the dried flower buds of a tree in the same family as cinnamon. It has been used for centuries to flavor many dishes!  One of the most common uses is in cooking as it can be great for spicing up meat dishes. For example, one teaspoon of ground cloves mixed with soy sauce makes an excellent marinade or glaze!
